Chocolate Almond Protein Smoothie

Here is a choccy recipe for you on Easter Sunday

This is one of my GO-TO WEEKDAY SMOOTHIES for breakfast or lunch.  Happy Easter!

Paleo, plus dairy, egg, soy, gluten, wheat and refined sugar free, optional vegan

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas (peel before freezing)
  • 2 serves chocolate flavoured protein powder
  • 2 serves collagen powder – omit if vegan
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon molasses (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Almond milk (I use just enough to blend)
  • Sprinkle of cacao powder to serve

Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender except the second cacao powder
  2. Top with cacao powder and serve, enjoy!
